For collectors I offer limited edition prints of my fine art photography. I limit the number of large scale productions of my work strictly for collectors and investors. This allows you to have a unique image that you may only share with a few others. My limited edition art work is a little different form others. I limit my prints by the length of the longest side independently of the medium in which it is printed on. For example if the side is longer than 16 inches and I limit the number of production pieces to 100. That means that if there have been 99 prints on paper larger than 16 inches and you order a canvas print larger than 16 inches you will the the only one in the world with that canvas print and that image is no longer for sale above 16 inches. On top of that it may also mean that you have the only photograph in that specific size because everyone else may have ordered prints in the 20 to 30 inch size and you ordered a 40×60 inch print. You could also have the only canvas print in the 20×30 inch size. The reason my limited editions prints are done this way is because I feel it allows them to be more unique to the collector and retain their value.
You may ask why I don’t limit my production work for the 16 inch and below sizes. Well I understand not everyone wants to be a collector or can afford it. I feel art is an important part of this world and everyone should have access to it. I want everyone to be able to enjoy my work, so I create production art work in sizes 16 inches and smaller for not collectors hoping everyone will have the ability to enjoy my photography.
