Bride in the Tree – by Matt Halvorson
This is a shot for a wedding I did a few weeks ago. To limit the harsh shadows from the sun I put her under a tree, well in the tree 😉 this helped shade her some. I also put the sun behind her to help with the shadows then I place my SB 600 in front of her to add fill and tripped it with a pocket wizard. I used manual exposure because I knew the exposure because the lighting around her was messing with my metering. I didn’t do anything in post processing but I may try converting to monotone at some point to see if I like it.
