I have been busy and haven’t had a chance to get out and to any landscape photos in a while. I missed the first couple days of snow but managed to get out after it stopped snowing. I was on the other side of Thumb Butte hoping to get some color over Prescott as the sun set behind me but it was a bust. So instead I decided to get some practice with my 600mm lens. I saw the Gateway Mall and Hyw 69 traffic and though it might be good for a long exposure so I set my camera up at 600mm f/25 30s and ISO100. Looking through the lens I noticed the Best Buy sign was almost center so I shot this a few times trying to get the BB sing as sharp as possible. I didn’t come away with the photos I went out looking for but I have fun and gained some experience with my new lens so I will call it a win.
