Yellowstone Northeast Entrance

Yellowstone Northeast Entrance

Driving up the Northeast Entrance to Yellowstone felt like I was driving up the road Dezzy and Lucy took in the Long Long Trailer. Here is the last good view before we leave the treeline.

Even if it wasn’t that famous road in the Sierra Nevadas I wouldn’t want to tow a trailer up this road. It is worth the drive if you are in a car though because once you get to the summit it s a beautiful view! Even in July there was still some snow at the top and the ground was filled with flowers. While the road drives gets close to the top to get to the highest point you need to get out and hike a little. Here is the view from about 11,000 feet which was the highest point along this trail.
